Johnny Depp, 'The Dark Knight', 'Lost' top IMDb's all-decade lists
27 January, 2012
IMDb has revealed its top ten most-viewed actors, movies and TV shows of the last decade to mark the tenth anniversary of the IMBbPro service, reported the website Digital Spy.
Johnny Depp was named as the most searched-for actor on the database, ahead of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Tom Cruise, while 'The Dark Knight' was the top film. Christopher Nolan's second 'Batman' film saw off competition from 'Donnie Darko', 'Pulp Fiction' and 'The Godfather', as well as multiple entries in the 'Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings' series. 'Lost' was named as the website's most popular television show, edging out 'House', 'Grey's Anatomy', and 'Heroes'. 'The Dark Knight Rises' topped the list of 'Most Anticipated In-Production Movies' ahead of second-placed 'Men in Black III' and 'The Dictator'. 'The Avengers', 'Prometheus' and 'The Expendables 2' also made the chart.
End.
