NOWSHERA: The vehicle of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami (JUI) provincial deputy chief, Maulana Yousuf Shah, was destroyed when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off on Thursday.
According to police, the vehicle of Yousuf was in the workshop at Akora Khattak when people detected an IED attached with the vehicle. Police and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) were called. However, the IED exploded before it could be defused and it totally destroyed the vehicle.
Yousuf, while talking to media, alleged that miscreants who had earlier killed prayer leader of Jamia Haqqania, Nasib Khan, were involved in this act of sabotage.
