JKLF-R pays tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain

Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R (JKLF-R) has paid rich tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) for sacrificing his life in the battle of truth and falsehood.

The JKLF-R spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the party had reiterated the pledge to maintain unity among each other and had decided to participate in all processions of the Ashura.

He said that the party leaders including Deputy Organiser, Haroon Kashmiri, Secretary, Muhammad Rafiq Butt, Shehzad Ahmad and Muhammad Saju Wani on Thursday participated in the mourning procession on the 7th of Muharram.

Meanwhile, the JKLF-R Chairman, Farooq Ahmad Dar in a statement in Srinagar expressing serious concern over the massacre of Palestinians by the Israeli forces and termed the Zionist onslaught as an eye opener for the Muslims Ummah.

He deplored that Israel had let loose the reign of terror and firepower on innocent Palestinians in Gaza." He added that it was the responsibility of the international community to stop Israeli aggression.
