Iran deports 34 'immigrants' to Pakistan

CHAGHAI: Iran has deported 34 Pakistani nationals and handed them over to Pakistani officials in Taftan. Levies sources said that Iranian police had apprehended the labourers who were living in Iran expired visas.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) shifted the 34 people to Quetta for interrogation. Last month, Iranian border force officials handed over 55 Pakistani deportees to Pakistani officials in Taftan.

Officials said Iranian police had arrested them after their visas expired but they were still working in Iran.
