ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) senior leader and Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khursheed Shah on Saturday said that the government would announce the interim set-up within one week. Talking to media persons here, the PPP leader said that the government was working to finalise the interim set-up and hopefully the caretaker government would be announced by March 15. He refused to name the possible candidates for the interim prime minister but said that consultations were going on within and outside the party for developing a consensus on one name. He further said that those who had joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday had not cast their votes to the party candidate in the Senate elections. "We had earlier issued show-cause notices to those parliamentarians, who joined the Nawaz League on Friday," he added. He further said that Nawaz Sharif had no manifesto as he was making alliances with parties of different ideologies, adding that PPP was not afraid of any such alliance. End.
