India's contradictory stance... By Zahid

In responding to the Pakistani prime minister's statement about third party intervention in Kashmir, the Indian foreign minister said that Kashmir is part of India and that India will not accept any party intervening in this dispute. India went to the United Nations in 1948. Now the right of self-determination according to the UN resolutions needs to be given. On one side is India trying to get a permanent seat in the UN and, on the other hand, not ready to accept any move by the UN on the Kashmir issue. India has more then 10 million Kashmiris — the world should open its eyes and let them decide their future.
