Incompetent rulers shattered dreams of people: Fazl

04 March, 2013

DI KHAN: Amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that incompetent rulers have shattered the dreams of people.

Addressing the Islam Zindabad Conference, he said that agents of the West were only cheating the people by raising anti-America slogans.

The JUI-F chief said Pakistan is faced with bloodbath as innocent children and women are being slaughtered.

He said that a bankrupt country is now being handed over to the next generation from every aspect.

The JUI-F has emerged with the concept of prosperous Pakistan before the nation.

"We will not accept anyone's slavery. JUI-F wants to give a massage of friendship to the world. Our doors are open," he added.

Meanwhile, strict security measures were put in place for the conference. Walk-through gates were installed at entry and exit points of the venue.

He said leaders with shady past cannot be entrusted with the responsibility of governing the country. "Country has been pushed towards bankruptcy due to bad policies of the rulers," he added.

Fazl said tribal areas were bleeding and rulers are doing nothing except mourning and offering condolences.

"Dreams of people have been shattered by the self-serving leaders but we will have to give hope of a prosperous and peaceful country to the new generations," Fazl said.

End.
