Imran for consulting all parties for caretaker set-up

09 January, 2013

PESHAWAR: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has called for consulting all political stakeholders for the establishment of caretaker setup.

Talking to newsmen in Peshawar on Tuesday‚ he said PTI will launch country-wide protest if an impartial caretaker government is not appointed. He said PTI will not participate in the long march.

"We will adopt a democratic approach to hold protests if we are not consulted about the caretaker set-up," he warned while speaking to reporters after visiting the residence of Qazi Hussain Ahmed.

"We will not join Dr. Tahir ul Qadri's long march," he said. To a question, the PTI leader said that his party would prefer making alliance with parties sitting out of the Parliament.

Earlier‚ Imran Khan visited the residence of former Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Late Qazi Hussain Ahmed and offered fateha for the departed soul.
