ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Saturday will be commencing his election campaign from NA-53 Islamabad constituency officially.

Khan will be addressing a worker’ convention at the Jinnah Convention Centre today along with PTI leaders Asad Umar, Raja Khurram Nawaz and Ali Awan.

Earlier, Khan’s nominations papers from NA-53 were rejected which were later on approved by election  commission’s appellate tribunal.

The returning officer (RO) had rejected Khan’s papers for not filling the N-clause pertaining to the candidate’s contributions in his constituency.

PTI chief had later on appeared before the appellate tribunal to fill the N-clause, citing that he had set up Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital, Namal College and also created awareness among the masses of their constitutional rights.
