14 December, 2013

ISLAMABD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) reserved verdict into a case relating to termination of chairman National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) Tariq Malik following a daylong hearing.

Malik's counsel Babar Sattar said that the NADRA chairman will continue working till the completion of his tenure.

The government had sacked Tariq Malik overnight by issuing a notification through the establishment division.

Malik refused to accept the decision and moved the Islamabad High Court.

The court directed him to continue his job till the court issues orders.
