Helping the visually impaired... By Sana

According to news reports, things might just get better for the visually impaired. Pakistan finally seems ready to sign the Marrakesh Treaty by providing more books and reading material in braille for those who are blind. Certainly, those unfortunate souls who are not blessed with the gift of sight have an extremely hard time in Pakistan because of our lacklustre approach towards education. The blind do not figure in our list of priorities.
However, this initiative will ensure that the 'book famine' the visually impaired have been suffering from will be alleviated to a great extent. It is hoped more such steps are taken for those who are not blessed with all the necessities of a normal existence.
