Gunship raid kills 3 militants in NWA

MIRANSHAH: Following the terrorist attack in Bannu, Pakistan Army's gunship helicopters carried out a raid in North Waziristan's Mir Ali area, killing three suspected militants on Sunday, official sources said.

Gunship helicopters targeted several suspected militant hideouts in different areas in Mir Ali Tehsil. Hours earlier, twenty security personnel were killed while thirty other injured when a planted device hit their convoy, within the limits of Bannu. Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack. The explosion hit a convoy of security forces en route to Razmak from Bannu. It also injured thirty others. The explosive device was planted in one of the vehicle of the convoy.
