Gunmen kill 5 of a family

JALALABAD: Unknown gunmen killed five persons and wounded a woman in Mohmand Dara district of eastern Ningarhar province last night, governor's spokesman said Monday.
The five people were killed and a woman wounded in Kochiano village of Mohmand Dara district, Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, spokesman for Ningarhar governor, told Afghan Islamic Press (AIP).
Security forces launched investigations in to the incident, he said without disclosing the motives behind the death of the five people.
A spokesman of border police in eastern Afghanistan, Idress Momand, meanwhile, said the incident was caused by personal enmity.
