Guard sacrifices life to avert robbery

KARACHI: A guard from a private security company sacrificed his life to prevent a bank robbery. According to SP Clifton, Zameer Abbasi the robbery attempt took place at a private bank in the Gizri area. Four robbers entered the bank and took the guard hostage. During this time there was an exchange of fire between the robbers and the guard, in which the guard was injured. The robbers on the other hand fled the scene while leaving the money behind. The guard who exhibited exemplary bravery succumbed to his injuries later. End.
