ISLAMABAD - National Assembly Leader of the Opposition Syed Khurshid Shah has advised the government to mend its ways instead of deceiving the nation by making lame excuses and using various tactics.

In a statement issued here on Sunday 25,January,2015 Khurshid Shah said that recent petrol crisis rendered Rs 10 billion losses per day to national exchequer and now electricity crisis seems looming large. He said that ineligibility and negligence of the government has weakened democracy and state institutions but the government was not ready to give up its stubbornness which is not in national interests. He said that despite being informed about shortfall of electricity due to non-availability of furnace oil, no arrangements were made to deal with the situation. He said that government should not test the patience of the masses.
