Govt 'seriously' considering operation in NWA: Malik

KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Friday that the government was seriously considering conducting an operation in the North Waziristan Agency. Speaking to reporters after arriving in Karachi, Malik said intelligence reports and the residents of North Waziristan state that the agency is a hub of terrorists. He added that political and military leadership would consider launching an army operation as all the ways now lead to North Waziristan after Taliban's attack on Malala Yousufzai. The minister said that the Taliban had actually attacked the Pakistani nation by targeting Malala. End.
