KAHUTA: The Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said on Sunday the incumbent government could not resolve any issue because the government itself was a problem for the country.

Addressing a public meeting here, Imran Khan said PTI's tsunami will wash away all the plunderers of the country. He said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) had no chance to win the next general elections even if they decide to contest the polls together.

Imran Khan said had there been a true democracy in the country, the prime minister would have held elections. Once again criticising the PML-N's role as an opposition, he said, "Every day the N-League puts up a drama of All Parties Conference,î adding if it really wanted to go against the government then it should resign from the National Assembly.

Imran Khan said had the current government came into power through the people and not the NRO, then elections would have been held. Quoting the Supreme Court's earlier statement about Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani being a "dishonest person", the PTI chief said that Gilani is "shameless".

ìIf Gilani had some shame, then he would have held the elections, but there is a deficit of shame,î Imran said. The PTI chief said the PML-N should resign from the National Assembly and Punjab Assembly seats if it thinks that the government is destroying the country.

Predicting that no resignation would be submitted, he said that the PPP and PML-N are not "ideological parties" and that majority of their members are "opportunists". "I predict that they will not resign from the Punjab Assembly, even if they resign from the National Assembly," he said. Earlier, former tehsil nazim Tariq Murtaza and 40 other former nazims and naib nazims announced joining PTI.

End.

Reader Comments:

Sorry chum, Imran, you should have said: Had there been democracy in Pakistan, the thieves, robbers and plunderers would have been strung up from electric poles in every town and city.

The PLUNDER PAKISTAN PARTY (PPP) has now openly assumed the new role of AGENTS OF THE US in the destruction of Pakistan. Haqqani, the 'US ambassador to Pakistan', during his very convenient stay in the PM House, has succeeded in converting the PPP and carpetbaggers into US GOVT. OF PAKISTAN. In a free Pakistan, these people would have been torn from limb to limb and thrown to wolves. And the name of the US would have been declared a swear word by law.

The eggheads in Washington are busy scheming the annihilation of Pakistan and Iran will be an excuse and opportunity. Let us hope and pray it won'nt happen before your tsunami!

The latest news is that Hillary's MUSLIM Obama has declared Iran for its nuclear program a thret to US. So Saddam's WMDs are coming back to life! Like Iraq, Iran has no atom bombs and it is a 'threat' and the cowboys have them by the thousand, so they must by definition be the children of the DEVIL HIMSELF against the entire humanity. And this time there is no muslim like Saddam to fool to attck Iran, so they are going to use ISRAEL, the child born out of US and British wedlock. The ungrateful Israelis conveniently forget that if it were not for the muslims, they would have been annihilated by the same crusaders ages ago.

And what did Obama say: The US, the c-in-c of the crusaders, is not an enemy of Islam! WOULD YOU BELIEVE THAT?
