Gilani contempt case: SC adjourns hearing till Feb 28

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing of contempt of court notice against the Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani in the NRO implementation case till February 28.
During the course of proceedings on Wednesday‚ Attorney General (AG) Maulvi Anwar-ul-Haq submitted the documentary evidences, our sources reported. Counsel of Prime Minister‚ Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan submitted before the court that he would present his stance on the evidences during the next hearing.
A seven-member bench of apex court headed by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk and comprising Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmany, Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Muhammad Ather Saeed would examine the proofs submitted by the Attorney General against the prime minister.
It is worth mentioning here that on February 16, Attorney General submitted four volumes of documentary evidence before the Supreme Court in the prime minister's contempt of court case.
