Ghazal singer Ghulam Ali's house robbed

LAHORE: Robbers Monday night swept famous Ghazal singer Ghulam Ali's house clean in an armed heist here in Lahore, sources reported.
According to Ghulam Ali's brother, Ashiq Ali, four gunslinging heisters barged into the bungalow, located in Defence Block J, locked the family inside a room, ransacked every nook and cranny, and got away with gold ornaments weighing around 90 tolas, cash nearly Rs700,000, and several mobile phones.
The bandits were driving a white car, he added.
"The hold-up lasted about one-and-a-half hours", Ghulam Ali's grandson told media.
