Four killed in accident

HERAT: Two vehicles collided head-on in the limits of Herat province Wednesday, killing four people and injuring two more, an official said. A vehicle hit a rickshaw in Band Armalaq area on the Herat-Karkh highway, the provincial governor's spokesman Mahiuddin Noori told the Afghan Islamic Press (AIP). The victims were travelling in the rickshaw, he said, adding driver of the other vehicle escaped from the scene. The injured were rushed to the hospital. End.
