Former Pakistani lawmaker buys Blair's house

LAHORE: A former Pakistani lawmaker has bought the house of former United Kingdom (UK) premier Tony Blair's family located in Central London for around Rs 200 million (£1.3 million). The Pakistan-British citizen Ashraf Chohan is a doctor by profession and running his clinic in Central London located at 6-Bendall Mews, Marylebone. The Blair family has four properties in the central London area and Dr Ashraf Chohan has succeeded to get one of it, which is next to his clinic. The former lawmaker in an email to our sources from London said that it was joyful job for him to buy a property from a celebrity of the UK. According to the property documents, Dr Muhammad Ashraf Chohan has bought the property from the Blair family members namely Cherie Blair and Nicholas John Blair. Along with other trades, the Blair family is also doing estate business these days. Dr Ashraf Chohan was an elected member of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in the Punjab Assembly. He had resigned over dual nationality issue as the Supreme Court had given a verdict against the parliamentarians who have dual nationalities. End.
