Five shot dead in Balochistan

QUETTA: As many as five people were killed in separate firing incidents in different towns of Balochistan on Tuesday.
According to police, armed men shot dead a man, Muhammad Khan, on Quetta-Ziarat Highway in Kuchlak area. The assailants fled the scene after killing Khan. In another incident, unidentified assailants opened indiscriminate fire in Sui Colony of Dera Bugti district.
As a result, two people, Qadir Bakhsh and Ali Bakhsh, died after receiving serious bullets wounds. Separately, a man identified as Muhammad Naseem was shot dead in Parum area of Panjgur district.
Moreover, armed assailants gunned down a man in Zehri tehsil of Khuzdar district. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Hafiz.
Meanwhile, Law enforcement agency personnel arrested a suspect and recovered weapons from his possession in Zhob late on Monday. Police sources said that acting on a tip-off, a team of security officials conducted a raid at a house on Zhob-Dera Ismail Khan road and arrested the suspect besides recovering weapons from his possession.
