Five of a family shot dead in Bannu

BANNU: Unidentified armed men gunned down five members of a family in their house here on Saturday, our sources reported. According to details, unknown armed men barged into the house of Umer Ali in Bakka Khel area and opened indiscriminate fire, killing Umer, his wife and three children nine-year-old Javed and two minor daughters. The accused managed to flee from the scene. Police shifted the bodies to district headquarters for legal formalities and started further investigation. End.
