Five dead as jeep plunges into River Chitral

CHITRAL: Five people were killed and four others injured when a jeep plunged into the River Chitral on Tuesday.

Police said that the jeep was on way to Reshun with nine passengers on board when the driver lost control over the wheel near a bridge.

Resultantly, the jeep plunged into the river. Five persons were killed and four others injured in the accident. The wounded were shifted to Booni Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
