Fazl warns of elements trying to spoil peace process

ISLAMABAD: The head of JUI-F, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that he appreciates the efforts to make conducive environment for the talks between government and Taliban.
In his statement issued from JUI(F)'s office on Sunday he said that a new era has been started regarding negotiations between government and Taliban. Both the sides have transferred prisoners with each others, similarly Taliban have given a positive response by stopping their actions, which shows that they are serious in the talks.
He said that government would soon announce the roadmap and mechanism for the dialogue process. He warned the nation that many elements, who have links with foreign forces would try to thwart the talks.
"The situation in Karachi is critical but the operation there should reach to its logical end. The apprehensions of MQM are justified for not making the caretaker political committee, which was approved by the Karachi APC", Maulana added.
JUI chief was of the view that it is the need of the hour to commence political measures for the resolution of problems in Baluchistan.
