Fazl terms drone an attack on Pakistan's peace

ISLAMABAD: Chief Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Maulana Fazl-Ur-Rehman has termed drone attack as an attack on Pakistan's peace.
Statement issued from here on Saturday, drone attack has proved that US and its allies only pursue their agenda and they do not care about Pakistan's interest.
Maulana added that recent drone attack unveiled duplicity of US and its allies as on the one hand, they were trying to adopt course of talks with Afghani Taliban and the other they were trying to derail efforts of Pakistan through drones, he added.
"Drone attack that killed Taliban Supreme Commander Hakimullah Mehsud was a great setback for Pakistan's efforts for peace," he added.
JUI chief advised the government to keep vigilant eye over circumstances as this attack was an attempt to further deteriorate the situation of Pakistan internally.
Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri, Maulana Muhammad Amjad Khan, Mufti Ibrar Ahmad, Haji Shamas-ur-Rehman Shamsi, Dr Atiq-ur-Rehman, Muhammad Iqbal Awan and others were present on the occasion.
