ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Mualana Fazlur Rehman held a telephonic conversation with PM Nawaz Sharif on Friday morning.

During the conversation, Maulana Fazl reiterated that the issue of North Waziristan should be resolved through dialogue, adding that the military operation in the area should be immediately halted.

JUI-F chief also said that curfew should be lifted from North Waziristan while the injured should be allowed to go to hospitals.

According to JUI-F spokesperson, Maulana Fazlur Rehman called PM Nawaz from New Delhi.

JUI-F chief is currently on a visit to India where he is scheduled to meet Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday.
