Fauzia Wahab hospitalised in critical condition

KARACHI: Central Pakistan People's Party leader and MNA, Ms Fauzia Wahab was hospitalised here on Sunday in a critical condition, her party sources said. According to the sources, Ms Wahab was admitted to a private hospital in Karachi from her home after her condition deteriorated suddenly. She is reported to be in intensive care unit and her tests were being conducted to diagnose the real cause of her sudden illness. It may be mentioned here that the former PPP Information Secretary had recently undergone a surgery. Her family and party leadership had appealed to people to pray for her early recovery. President Asif Ali Zardari has also contacted Wahab's family members to inquire about her health. Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani also inquired about the health of Ms Fauzia Wahab and prayed for her early recovery. He also directed the hospital administration to provide her best medical facilities. End.
