FAISALABAD: A group of political leaders should be expelled from the country after bringing back the wealth they looted from the country and stashed away in foreign countries, to save the country from further chaos, loot and plunder.

This was demanded by Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, a senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) while addressing a public meeting at historic Clock Tower Chowk here late Sunday night.

He said the Pakistan People's Party has lost the mandate to rule after a resolution was introduced in the US Congress seeking right to self-determination for the people of Balochistan. He chided the role of PPP and PML-N in political history of Pakistan adding that the parties have been monopolised as "Family Limited Companies". Both are befooling masses and are playing in the foreign hands to destabilise this region with successive political, military and economic turmoil.

Hashmi said both parties were given power to rule with an under-hand agenda to fulfil the objectives of the US colonialism. He said they have successfully completed the first part of conspiracy to destabilise Pakistan and Afghanistan and now they have been assigned the task to disintegrate Iran.

Javed Hashmi said rulers are busy in merrymaking while the people are bearing the brunt of unscheduled loadshedding and gas outages. He said the American interests are in direct clash with our national as well as regional interests, but the ruling elite are inclined to clamp down hegemony of America. He said to fulfil the American agenda, the rulers have been bribed, but they have been failed to safeguard the national interests.

Later, addressing a news conference at residence of PPP MPA Dr Asad Moazzam, he welcomed his decision to quit the PPP and join the PTI. Earlier addressing party supporters in Toba Tek Singh, Javed Hashmi said the PTI tsunami was unstoppable and majority of people now supported Imran Khan.

End.
