Elite Force man among 3 killed in Rawalpindi raid

RAWALPINDI: Three people, including two blood brothers, and an Elite Force official were killed while a policeman was injured during a raid here late on Thursday. According to details, Elite Force personnel accompanied by a secret agency's officials, on a tip-off regarding presence of suspected people, launched a search operation in Katarian area of Rawalpindi. During the operation the unidentified miscreants opened fire, killing Elite Force's ASI Hassan Naeem, brothers Jamshed and Sajjad. The bodies were shifted to the Holy Family Hospital for medico-legal-formalities. The police arrested Malik Shumail, the uncle of the deceased brothers, on suspicion. End.
