KARACHI: Rabiul Awwal moon has been sighted and today (Friday) will be the first day of the second month of Islamic calendar of 1435 AH.

The Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) will fall on Tuesday, January 14. This was announced by Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneebur Rehman. Mufti Muneebur Rehman presided over the meeting of the committee at the Met Office to determine sighting or otherwise of the moon.
