KARACHI: Amid preparations to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi Peace Be Upon Him (PBUH) with great reverence and fervour, Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) have prepared foolproof security plan to ensure strict security on the day of Jashan-e-Eid Miladun Nabi PBUH on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, which will fall on January 25, our sources has learnt.

According to the security plan, close circuit cameras would be installed on the routes of the processions, to be taken out on the day. Heavy contingents of police would be deployed on the routes, while the processions would also be monitored through helicopters.

In this regard, Ulema have also been taken onboard and were asked for cooperation with LEAs. Religious clerics promised to cooperate with the security officials and KMC administration on the day. The final traffic and security plan are likely to be announced soon.

Various social, cultural, educational institutions and religious organisations have also finalised programmes to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi PBUH. Big congregations would be held at almost 15 spots on 11th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, throughout the city under the supervision of Daawat-e-Islami. The areas, in which congregations would be held, include Kharadar, Orangi Town, Korangi, Malir and Baldia Town, while the main congregation would be held at Faizan-e-Madina near Old Sabzi Mandi.

Earlier, such types of congregations would culminate at Faizan-e-Madina, but due to deteriorating law and order condition of the city, this year the congregations will be concluded in their respected areas and later the participants would join the main event at Faizan-e-Madina.

Moreover, arrangements to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi PBUH are in full swing across the city. A large number of buildings, houses and particularly shrines in the city are being decorated with colourful lights. Programmes, including Mahaafil-e-Naat, are also being scheduled for the day.

End.
