Edhi nomination... By Umer

According to media news Pakistani social tycoon Abdul Sattar Edhi has been nominated for a Nobel Prize award. Edhi nomination is not astonishing for people of Pakistan due to his efforts, remarkable charity work and personality he is rightly deserve for this title. Edhi is born charity worker he started his charity work with some hundred rupees and small tent outside his small house in very poor area of Karachi now Edhi is running largest charity network of south Asia. Monthly budget of Edhi Foundation has exceed ten million dollars. According to Gunnies book of world record Edhi has largest net work of ambulance service in Asia which is 24 hours available for service. Despite large budget of his charity service Edhi spent simple life with very ordinary cloths.

Despite his old age he is still working eighteen hours every day and never absent from his duty. Edhi "My Home' project is destination of thousands of orphans, street children and old people most of them have no place in society due to poverty or selfishness of their families. Edhi "Maach Goth" graveyard has more than sixty thousand graves most of them buried here died on streets Edhi volunteers collected their bodies and sent to their final destination. Not only in Pakistan but several foreign governments recognized his efforts also and he received several prestigious awards.

According to Edhi people donations are main source of his welfare service. People trust on him and he never harm their trust. Edhi life and efforts are big lesson for corrupt politicians, political parties and ordinary people of Pakistan. We must fellow his charity work example and he is rightly deserve for noble price.
