Earthquake jolts Lahore, surroundings

LAHORE: A moderate earthquake of 3.3 magnitude jolted the city and its surrounding areas on Friday. The earthquake struck Lahore, Kasur and other areas at around 4:43pm.
According to the Meteorological Department, the epicentre of the quake was India, 125 kilometres away from the city.
The jolts caused panic in the earthquake-hit areas and the people rushed out of their homes and buildings. However, no causalities were reported.
