ECP to allot election symbols on 19th

17 March, 2013

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan has decided to allot election symbols to political parties on Tuesday (March 19).

The meeting of the ECP for this purpose will be held on March 19, in the conference hall of the ECP Secretariat, Islamabad. The commission has directed all the political parties who have applied for election symbols for general elections to send a representative of their party to attend the meeting of the ECP.

If a political party does not attend the meeting for allotment of election symbols, the ECP has the right to allot the party a symbol in the light of the preferences shown by that party in its application submitted to the commission for the purpose.

End.
