PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Thursday lifted the ban barring Dr Shakeel Afridi from meeting his family.
Talking to media, Peshawar Jail Deputy Superintendent Maqsudur Rehman said the provincial government has allowed Dr Shakeel to meet his family once a month.
Afridi is incarcerated for running a pretentious vaccination campaign in Abbottabad for the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in a bid to trace Osama bin Laden.
