Double standards... By Iftikhar

16 November, 2012

In a video that appeared on internet on Nov 9, re-elected President Obama wept while talking to his staff. Expectedly, the news made headlines but at the same time it is also food for thought for all those who believe in Obama's tender heart. When it comes to killing innocent citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan at the hands of US & ISAF troops, where goes the tenderness?

Such flag bearers of democracy become lethal and brutal killers of old people, women and children through drones, indiscriminately. Should we hope that during his regime, Obama would display some sagacity and prudence in dealing with the poor masses of Southeast Asia?
