Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) has warned the government by telling it to immediately shift its under trial militants from the high-security Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) jail in Quetta Cantonment to Central Jail Hudda in the provincial metropolis or get ready to face yet another suicide assault by its attackers on the ATF prison. The threat was hurled by Abu Bakar Siddiq, the spokesman of the LeJ's Balochistan chapter during phone calls he made after the February 16, 2013 bombings in Quetta, which killed Shia Hazaras. I just wonder what is stopping our government and the judiciary from immediately convicting and sentencing the under trial militants through the speedy courts. This is the only way to deter any future attacks on innocent people. DR IRFAN ZAFAR
