Dengue virus haunts 37 more in Swat

SWAT: The dengue virus continued haunting people in Swat where 37 more persons were diagnosed dengue positive on Thursday and the figure had reached at 8,734 affected people.
Dengue virus was confirmed in 37 more patients between Thursday and Wednesday who were brought to Saidu Sharif Hospital, while 37 patients who were already getting treatment were discharged meanwhile.
Spokesman of Saidu Sharif Hospital, Wasil Khan said that at present 95 patients of dengue virus including 28 women and six children were under treatment in the hospital among those 13 patients including two women were in critical conditions.
Dr. Wasil said a total of 4923 patients of dengue fever had been admitted in the hospital during last 72 days while 4670 patients were discharged from the hospital after successful treatment.
