Decline of Pakistan Railways... By Sundus

07 March, 2012

Another important infrastructure of the county has collapsed due to mismanagement and corruption. Nobody is actually affected other than the lower class, as the affluent can easily avail flights as their choice of transportation. It seems like no one is even bothered to find out what went wrong with this important, money-generating state institution. All over the world, railways are used to make profits and are a prime means of earning revenue, whereas in our country it runs up perpetual losses. I think we need people to rise to the occasion and clean up the mess. Here's to hoping for the best that the government of Pakistan would someday look into this serious issue that plays a major part in our country's economy.
