Death at the polling station
02 November, 2015
Politics is bloody business here in Pakistan. We cannot seem to do anything in a civilised, humane manner. Reports tell that as many as 11 people have been killed in Khairpur when clashes broke out between the workers of the PPP and PML-Functional. What is wrong with us? Why can we not get past the egos and the misguided loyalties held by the workers of our political parties? Why do they always make matters so much worse in an already fragile system?
The people responsible for this incident must be brought to book. This cannot be looked at as yet another case of political inconvenience.
