Cruelty of hostel administration... By Mudassar

Punjab University (PU), Lahore is the oldest and the largest university of the country. Nearly 33,000 students are studying in its different departments. As per government policy, 150 special students are also getting free education on a quota basis. These students are eligible to use the hostel facility as well, which is now being turned into a liability for some blind students by the hostel superintendent and his assistant.
A blind student, Mian Muhammad Sami, is doing MA in history and is living for the last one year in the Liaqat Hall No. 09, Room No. 18. The hostel's superintendent Malik Mohammad Waqar and his assistant Mohsin Khan came to Muhammad Sami's room thrice last night. During their third raid at 1:30 am, they found a student preparing an assignment for his blind friend. He also happened to be from the history department and lives in Hostel No.08. Superintendent Malik Waqar and his assistant Mohsin Khan not only double locked Sami's room but also as a punishment threw him out of the hostel at night at 1:30 am. Now they have threatened to expel him from the hostel forever. Sami kept weeping the entire night; he has so far appealed to the Chief Minister Punjab and to the Vice Chancellor of the university to take some serious step against the superintendents so that he could continue his studies peacefully.
