Coward Taliban martyred my SP: Bilawal

KARACHI: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday said Superintendent of Police (SP) CID Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam had discharged his duties with the highest sense of responsibility and commitment amid death threats and terrorist attacks and died a hero.
The PPP chairman tweeted: "The coward terrorists of TTP martyred my SP Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam." He said the martyred official showed his commitment to fight terrorists till the last drop of his blood.
According to the Online news agency, Bilawal paid tributes to his father and former president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari for presenting himself before the accountability court. He said the witch-hunt of an elected representative was going on while a general was waiting in the wings to escape abroad.
COAS pays tribute to Ch Aslam
The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif, paying tributes to the slain CID officer Chaudhry Aslam said on Thursday that the whole nation was united against terrorism.
Quoting a statement issued by the ISPR, a private news channel reported that the army chief condemned the attack, saying that Chaudhry Aslam had provided great services to eliminate terrorism from the country. He said the efforts of law enforcement agencies against terrorism were laudable. He added the entire nation was united against terrorism.
