23 January, 2013

ISLAMABAD: Law Minister Farooq H Naek said on Tuesday that the constitution and law would be followed while implementing the Islamabad Long March Declaration.

Talking to the media outside the Parliament House, he said that the declaration singed by the government and Tehreek-e-Minhajul Qran chief Dr Tahirul Qadri would be implemented. He said that a meeting, scheduled to take place in Lahore on Sunday, would discuss the issue related to declaration.

To a question, he said the government, coalition partners and Dr Tahirul Qadri have signed the agreement and opposition parties have no link with it. He said that Governor's Rule has been imposed in Balochistan under Article 234 (A) and (C) on the receipt of report from the governor of the province.

End.
