Condition of railways to get better within 120 days: Sheikh Rashid

Lahore: Minister of Railway Sheikh Rashid Ahmad on Sunday stated that no decision has been made about increase in fares for railway passengers as protection of rights of a common man according to the vision of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
The minister said that the condition of railways will be made better within 120 days and its debt would brought down by the end of year 2018 while speaking to the media at Railway Station, Lahore.
He added that his target is to rehabilitate and improve the railways according to Imran Khan vision.
He said that twenty thousand new studio apartments will be built for railway workers in order facilitate them properly.
Furthermore, the minister also talked about installing three new elevators for the disabled and old citizens at the Lahore Railway Station and said that in future more elevators would be added at big railway stations across Pakistan.
However, Sheikh Rashid stated that in order to generate more revenue media outlets and advertising companies would be invited for its publicity and branding.
He said that it would be better if the opposition a joint candidate while responding to a question about oppositions candidate for the presidential elections. He added that he will demote those officers who got promoted by illegal means.
