Complete shutdown in Occupied Kashmir for 3rd consecutive day today

12 February, 2014

SRINAGAR: Complete shutdown is being observed for the third consecutive day today to mark martyrdom anniversary of renowned liberation fighter Muhammad Maqbool Butt.

Muhammad Maqbool Butt was executed in New Delhi's Tihar jail on the 11th February in 1984.

Call for the three-day shutdown was given by pro-freedom leaders and organizations.

It is aimed at pressing the demand for return of mortal remains of the martyred leaders Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru from New Delhi's Tihar Jail to the occupied territory.

End.
