Clash between Bugti tribes leaves eight dead in Balochistan

QUETTA: At least eight people, including women and children, were killed in clashes between two groups in Balochistan's Jaffarabad district, officials said on Sunday.

The incident took place in Sohbatpur area of Jaffarabad where people of two Bugti tribes fired shots at each other's houses, police said. The armed clash left eight people dead and three injured.

Reports said three women and two children also lost their lives in the gory incident. Police claimed it was result of old enmity over dispute on a piece of land.
