Bomb attack injures eight in Gwadar

15 April, 2012

GWADAR: Eight labourers were injured on Saturday when unidentified persons hurled hand grenade on them in the outskirts of Gwadar in Balochistan.

According to police sources, people were standing on the corner of the road when unidentified miscreants threw a hand grenade at them. The area police shifted the injured to a nearby hospital and started investigation.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack. Police suspected that anti-government nationalists might be behind the incident.

Sources said that all the injured belonged to Punjab.

End.
