Bid to smuggle heroin to Saudi Arabia foiled

KARACHI: Airport custom officials foiled a bid to smuggle more than one kilogramme of heroin abroad and arrested an accused here on Saturday.
According to details, the custom officials during checking of baggage of a Saudi Arabia bound passenger at Quaid-e-Azam International Airport, Karachi recovered more than one kilogramme of heroin hidden in secret chambers of his suitcase.
The Airport Security Force (ANF) seized the recovered drugs and arrested the accused. It should be mentioned that the recovered drug is worth millions of rupees in the international market.
