Bid to damage another shrine in IHK

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, some unidentified persons have tried to burn another shrine, the shrine of Ameer Kabeer at Dooru Shahabad in Islamabad town.
Leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mukthar Ahmad Waza visited the town to take stock of the situation.
Addressing a large gathering at the shrine, he expressed serious concern over the rising incidents of damaging religious places in Kashmir.
Waza said, "Religious places are being targeted under a well-planned strategy for the past few months.
The APHC leader said that Muslim population of the Valley was being physically and spiritually tortured through targeting shrines and other religious places.
He appealed to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to send a team for investigation into the incidents of shrine tragedies in the Kashmir Valley.
